As she was putting it in the pan, I stole a sip out of the bottle, and was blown away at how smooth it was. I immediately grabbed my favorite glass and poured 3 fingers (neat) and busted out my box of Drew Estate Java cigars. The flavor profile of this bourbon is a mixture of earthy vanilla, dark fruit, honey, and subtle coffee notes. 11/10! And Semper Fi! FAMILY VALUES. I’m from Texas where every thing is bigger my Ego and love for Texas Whisky. Then came MERICA BOURBON. Owned and started by a fellow Marine and made by Veterans. The bottle and label has that nostalgia look. The color is a light golden color of honey. The nose is openly refreshing that sends the ole factor into high gear. The taste is first of cinnamon with a slight hint of sweetness like brown sugar and the 90 proof has just the right heat at the back of the throat. It has an awesome design and is a great conversation piece. But then I tried it, and Lord in heaven is it good! Shockingly good. It’s very smooth with great flavor notes. Slightly sweet and easy to drink. I drink whiskey neat or with a few ice cubes and this stuff is money. Good for someone just getting into the whiskey game. It doesn’t offend the palate at all. The one I brought was MERICA. Two people poured a glass of rye another glass of Jack Daniels and I opened the bottle I brought. I took a pull right from the bottle and told everybody how good it was. The majority of that bottle was drank by passing the bottle from veteran to veteran. I think the last half the bottle actually made it into a glass.
